Phase 5 Is Ready


Phase 5 is now active for testing.

This phase is focused on progression.  This includes leveling up and spending stat points, equipping items with varying powers or boosts, and base progression via blueprint unlocks and upgrades for facilities and machines.

The build is quite focused.  You begin with a hub, door, bbc (Basic Base Constructor), a pick, and 2 pairs of boots.

Farm a few resources, slap down your base items, spend stat points in your inventory (TAB).  Craft a power room, wind turbines, and the research center.  Once the base is powered and center is available unlock iron drills, craft one and slap it down.  You can also upgrade the drills.

That is pretty much the progression system in its most basic form.  

The next build will expand the research system as well as add many additional facilities and machines we will need for an eventual vertical slice.  The majority of stuff being added is a variation of existing buildings with the exception of the green house / farming system I plan to add.  There will be a slight delay before we begin working on the next phase as I have some other responsibilities to manage for my existing commercial (Game Dev Masters).  Thank you and I hope you enjoy the progression system, let me know if there are any issues.
