Phase 4 Ready for Testing
Phase 4 of my current prototype is ready for testing~!
In this phase the focus is on creating a few resources, having the player acquire those resources, have the player use machines for basic crafting, and then automate resource collection via the iron drill.
I have trimmed out a lot of the working buildings and items to keep the test focused on the specific task.
You start with a pick, a hub, a door for the hub, and a crafting machine. That machine can make a wireless power room, wind turbines, storage boxes, and the iron drill.
Ideally place those things down, farm a few resources, power the base, and drill some ore. Save / load and get crazy, if you find any issues with these mechanics please report them to me on here or via discord. Thank you and have fun, this test should only take 5-10 mins of play time to verify mechanics are working well and let me know how they feel.
Please bare in mind visuals are not on the table yet, everything is just made from shapes in engine, and the crafting machine has a couple arms that appear to wiggle as I am just changing a couple rotations int he arms to mimic an animation. Eventually with real models it will be an actual animation, for now please don't judge the visuals just the game play.
