Minor Update 2 Ver 3


Minor Notes

-Tweaked gains from companies you invest in.  My thought process on this is roughly I want you to recover investment and gain money within 2-4 years of purchase.  This way its not to long that its not worth but slow enough its not the only / best option.

I have some ideas for AAA games that may involve using companies you own 51%+ in to work aspects of the game much like how the big guys function in today's market.  Where Ubisoft will have its studios in Montreal / Toronto etc etc all doing portions of the games.

-Changed main hud to display 2 forms of money. Petty cash and bank.  Currently training / research uses petty cash and everything else deposits / withdraws from your companies bank account.

-Added a select favorite genre option to char selection.

This genre will start researched allowing players to get right into making there first game if they so choose to do so.  This change comes in before the major trend changes.  Once I create the dynamic trends systems you wont have a trend at the start of the game to follow, so the favorite genre will likely be your first game created before trends take affect.  It's my hope that the dynamic trends will make for a better experience allowing players to make games they want not just keep hitting the trending topic / genres over and over.

-Couple of minor hud formatting changes to make visibility easier.


That is all for this current minor update, next on the chopping block is the rework for the exp systems which should make leveling smoother and more realistic.  This should also allow me to balance a nice exp curve throughout all stages of the game.  The exp change will also be the lead in to the skills update to follow.
